CME Market Data – Country Restrictions and Vendor Responsibilities

Per CME Group policy, market data must not be accessed, distributed, or consumed in certain countries and regions.

As a vendor, it is your responsibility to monitor and enforce compliance with this restriction. If a user is found to be accessing CME data from any prohibited location, you are required to:

  1. Immediately cease distribution of CME data to that user by canceling their market data subscription using the cancelEverything endpoint.

  2. Report the violation to NinjaTrader’s API Support team.

Market data is prohibited in the following countries and regions:

  • Afghanistan
  • Albania
  • Antarctica
  • Belarus
  • Burkina Faso
  • Chad
  • Congo
  • Côte d’Ivoire
  • Cuba
  • Djibouti
  • East Timor
  • Guinea-Bissau
  • Iran
  • Jordan
  • Lao PDR
  • Lesotho
  • Libya
  • Malawi
  • North Korea
  • Palestinian Territory
  • Rwanda
  • Sierra Leone
  • Somalia
  • Sudan/South Sudan
  • Syria
  • Tajikistan
  • Yemen
