# CME Market Data – Country Restrictions and Vendor Responsibilities

Per CME Group policy, market data **must not be accessed, distributed, or consumed** in certain countries and regions.

As a vendor, it is **your responsibility** to monitor and enforce compliance with this restriction. If a user is found to be accessing CME data from any prohibited location, you are required to:

1. **Immediately cease distribution** of CME data to that user by canceling their market data subscription using the `cancelEverything` endpoint.

2. **Report the violation** to NinjaTrader's API Support team.

Market data is prohibited in the following countries and regions:

* Afghanistan
* Albania
* Antarctica
* Belarus
* Burkina Faso
* Chad
* Congo
* Côte d'Ivoire
* Cuba
* Djibouti
* East Timor
* Guinea-Bissau
* Iran
* Jordan
* Lao PDR
* Lesotho
* Libya
* Malawi
* North Korea
* Palestinian Territory
* Rwanda
* Sierra Leone
* Somalia
* Sudan/South Sudan
* Syria
* Tajikistan
* Yemen
