# Change Speed

POST https://demo.tradovateapi.com/v1/replay/changespeed

### Change the playback speed of a Market Replay session.

Send this request over a WebSocket connected to the Market Replay URL to adjust how fast the session plays back. The `speed` parameter is a percentage from 0 to 400, where 100 is real time and 400 is four times real time.

The server sometimes pauses a session on its own; while paused, it keeps sending `clock` events with `speed` set to `0`. Send another `replay/changespeed` request to resume playback.
