# Reset Alert

POST https://demo.tradovateapi.com/v1/alert/resetalert
Content-Type: application/json

### Resets an alert. 
You can use this method after an alert has been triggered to keep the alert and wait for the alert to be triggered again.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.

This endpoint expects a ResetAlert.

- `alertId` (long, required)

## Response

- `status` (enum, required) — Active, Expired, Failed, Inactive, TriggeredOut
  - Allowed values: `Active`, `Expired`, `Failed`, `Inactive`, `TriggeredOut`

- `id` (long, optional)
- `validUntil` (datetime, optional)
- `triggerLimits` (integer, optional)
- `triggeredCounter` (integer, optional)
- `failure` (string, optional)
- `message` (string, optional)
